Be it new technology or an update to legacy equipment, you want to ensure maximum returns on your investment. All too often, significant investments in technology are undermined by a poor fitting implementation.
The Solutions Consultant's role is to mold the technology to the customer's business requirements and processes. Directec employs six Solutions Consultants, all of which have a very strong grasp on the technology but have also worked previously in the customer environment and understand well the business element. At the commencement of a project the Solutions Consultant will meet with key stake holders and run discovery workshops and design sessions.
Once armed with a sound understanding of your business, the Solutions Consultant will provide feedback and recommendations for change, along with current industry practices. A design document will then be produced and signed off upon before commencing programming of the solution. Throughout the implementation the Solutions Consultant remains in constant contact with the customer (in many cases working from the customer site), fine-tuning the solution and managing the training schedule along the way.
