AUTOMATED CONTROL Home automation is essentially the integration of multiple systems within the home (I.e. security, lighting, heating, distributed audio and video, garage doors and gates, telephone, etc.), all operating individually but linked via a common controller. Up until recently, home automation solutions have been made up of a collection of disparate systems and components, requiring multiple and/or purpose built control points. Over complicating and cluttering the solution for the end user. There is now a range of products available that allows the end user to combine total control within the one solution.
